With this band name you would expect punk rock, but the four NOISE men from Northern Germany do not want to be pigeonholed, but rather have made it their business to make every amplifier glow. At "Noise Atron”Is set to German and the style brew is almost equal parts hard rock, heavy metal, as well as a good portion of snot and punk rock. “Lärmatron” step on the gas and after four years and a few line-up changes after the EP “Ab durch die Mitte”, the first album is coming out in 2014. A strong record on which the guys from Oldenburg let their guitars smoke and really get going.
The North Germans live up to their name. If the word “noise” tends to have a negative connotation, in this case it is more about unbridled power and rock to the point. Fat guitars and Pat's powerful vocals really get you going and are nice and refreshing. “Lärmatron” may not have reinvented the wheel, but you don't always have to struggle to find it. The boys met in Oldenburg, Lower Saxony, at the end of 2007 and just two years later the quartet released their first EP “Ab durch die Mitte”. Now with “Die Ich-Show” there is a new disc of the troupe. Musically well played, hard beats and skillful guitar riffs dominate the overall picture, without interrupting the vocals. Unusual for this kind of music are the clear and distinct vocals, no grunts or screams, almost a bit too nice, but only almost. The longer the CD runs, the more you find yourself in the style of the four guys.
Some bands have already proven over time that hard rock and metal can work with German-language lyrics, but it can still take a while to get used to “Die Ich-Show” and to start enjoying the record. The energy level is consistently high and the technical skills of the instruments are given. Above all, “Lärmatron” will be able to provide entertainment live and this disc will not fail to have an impact on canned audio, on the contrary. The title “Die Ich-Show” was chosen because it stands for a stand against the disadvantages of a digital world and for the advantages of the analog world. The song of the same name deals with the topic of the daily “show” that jumps towards us on social networks. A show that has a lot of losers that haven't been before. But it is also a show by those who were there before and who ultimately, despite all the facade, will not succeed in being suddenly winners for themselves. The opposite is the case: they get lost in a virtual world in which they are important, in which they are popular, and in the process they really miss arriving in life. When writing this song, Pat had a very specific person in mind - a real person who does indeed exist (heavily exaggerated in the song) in real life.
“Die Ich-Show” is neither egocentric, narcissistic nor even self-portrayal, but has a completely different background. The “Lärmatron” singer also finds inspiration for his lyrics in everyday life: “The songs are always linked to personal experiences, impressions and feelings and are mixed with dreams, wishful thinking, imagination and fantasy. Paired with catchy melodies and powerful sounds, they become the stuff rock music is made of. " No, taking a break or taking a deep breath is not necessarily the thing of “noise atron”. It goes straight forward without compromise and with full throttle straight to the eardrum! “Puls” is a song about the famous “falling guy” Richard Drew, who committed suicide in the burning World Trade Center. It's a song that grew on the shit of guitarist Andie Guitar and for which Pat wrote the appropriate lyrics according to Andie's ideas. "Hair in the Mouth" is a relatively dark ballad based on a true story. The change between calm passages and the distorted guitars is seamlessly managed by “Lärmatron”.
With “Die Ich-Show” Lärmatron delivered a strong album. To what extent the troupe can differentiate itself from other, comparable bands, I am unable to interpret, but the almost hour of music is really fun. The quartet from the Oldenburg area lets it really rock and rock and practically every song is worth listening to! The bottom line, however, is more of a disc for friends of punk rock metal than for die-hard metallers. The cover of the album is extremely successful and the booklet has all the lyrics on top. Testing should be a must for every friend of the harder German rock and if mere words don't convince you, you have the opportunity to listen to the album here.

Live the band Lärmatron is a hit!
Rarely have I had so much fun with a live band that I didn't know before. Have both CDs at home and can only recommend them! Great vocals, great guitars! The Toten Hosen can retire: here are the successors ...
Hi,
just discovered the review and completely share the opinion of the author. A really well done record. Unfortunately, I first got the taste to experience this band live - but let me say: The show was really fun, very powerful and great songs. A great performance by the guys and always a suitable saying in stock.
I can only recommend you: Take a look at one of the boys' performances and be sure to get this record - you will definitely not be disappointed.
