Director Tim Sutton (Memphis) takes up the events of Aurora in 2012 with “Dark Night”. In a small town, different people experience their very ordinary day, at the end of which each of them will have to go to the cinema - and that is where tragedy occurs, as is well known. Sutton relies on a lot of authenticity in his film, with which he does not retell the story of Aurora, but wants to deal with the problem of “gun violence in the USA” in general. Therefore, with the support of the experienced cinematographer Hélène Louvart, he chose a documentary style and avoided well-known actors. Instead, he brought amateur actors in front of the camera. The film premiered at the renowned Sundance Film Festival in early 2016, and the rampage drama will also hit US cinemas on February 3, 2017. However, nothing is known about a release date in our latitudes ...

but the one
in which the favorable winds swell our sails;
so says the doctrine of navigators.

It should be clear that running dravenstales.ch takes a lot of time and costs. To cover costs and maybe a free drink or two, I could plaster the whole place with advertising. But I like my readers, which is why I want to offer them a (largely) ad-free reading experience. If you like what's going on and/or what's going on on this website, then it would be nice if you somehow shared the fun here would support, Thank you!
