The brand new video for Megadeth's "The Right To Go Insane" is based on a true story where Shawn Timothy Nelson, a US Army veteran and unemployed plumber, in San Diego on May 17, 1995, bought an M60 Patton tank in the Nearby National Guard Armory under the nail ripped. He used it to drive down the freeway, crushing cars, fire hydrants and a mobile home before being stopped and killed by police. Great clip!
I barely get to the graveyard shift on time
After pulling another grueling 9 to 5
I live from credit card to check
The paper money's whirling by
And I hardly just
Just barely only surviveI'm living on the edge
Reality is teasing
My mind is on the brinkHow will I face the day tomorrow?
If I can't make it through today
I've got nothing left to lose but my sanity
And the right to go insaneI've got nothing left to lose but my mind
I've got nothing left to choose
So I think I'll go insaneMy stomach aches
Insufficient funds
My cheeks are gaunt
And my guts are overdrawn
My head pounds
Starvation's giving me the shakes
Too much squalor
too much pressure
Now I'm getting pissedI'm living on the edge
Reality is teasing
My mind is on the brinkHow will I face the day tomorrow?
If I can't make it through today
I've got nothing left to lose but my sanity
And the right to go insaneI've got nothing left to lose but my mind
I've got nothing left to choose
So I think I'll go insane
