Nothing good ever comes of people playing God. The first trailer for the sci/fi thriller «Morgan», accompanied by a chilling singsong, allows us the first encounter with a creature whose abilities go far beyond those of a normal human being. In the film "Morgan" an AI is developed in human form, which of course freaks out again. In itself, the idea of the film is not really new and it is also not new that these scientists want to stop the rapidly maturing AI. But what appealed to me about the trailer is that chanting that's addressed, because it's just grossly gross. Just as if something not at all human wanted to imitate a human being. Very consistent. This AI is embodied by none other than acting shooting star Anya Taylor-Joy from this year's surprise horror hit «The Witch». Some established names have also found their way into the cast with Kate Mara (American Horror Story), Rose Leslie, Boyd Holbrook and Paul Giamatti. Luke Scott, son of director legend Ridley Scott (Alien, Prometheus), is taking his first steps as a director with Morgan, but of course he was able to draw on the advisory and producing support of his famous father on his sci/fi thriller debut. The film will be released in the US&A on September 2nd, but no release is planned for our latitudes yet...
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely, in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting “Holy shit, what a ride!”

It should be clear that running dravenstales.ch takes a lot of time and costs. To cover costs and maybe a free drink or two, I could plaster the whole place with advertising. But I like my readers, which is why I want to offer them a (largely) ad-free reading experience. If you like what's going on and/or what's going on on this website, then it would be nice if you somehow shared the fun here would support, Thank you!
