He left the director's chair to Marco Ristori and Luca Boni, who were already responsible for the zombie film "Eaters". As with "Eaters," Boll is executive producer and even an actor on "Zombie Massacre." Zombie Massacre is also based on a video game, a rather stupid Doom clone with zombies instead of demons.
