Köche, die nur rohe und biologische Zutaten in ihren Restaurants servieren, werben oft mit ihrer Lebensmittelphilosophie und machen dies zu einem Branding-Element ihres Speisetempels. Sie werben meist mit Bildern von frischen Früchten, Gemüse und Getreide und die Speisekarte beinhalten oft eine lange Liste der Dinge, die in ihren Gerichte nicht enthalten sind, wie Hormone oder Gluten.
Chefkoch Robbie Postma geht einen anderen Weg und nutzt den Schockfaktor für Portraits, bei welchen er mit rohen Zutaten aus seiner Küche bedeckt ist. «MENU» nennt sich Postmas köstlich bizarres Foto-Projekt das Fotograf Robert Harrison festhält und diese Fotos sind weit mehr als nur Bilder von einem Kerl mit Essen im Gesicht:
When creating these images, Postma and Harrison stuck to the same principles and values a chef would when creating a menu: paying a lot of attention to the details, the composition, the preparation and of course the ingredients.
